Michael has been with Barnell since 1979. Michael has extraordinary skills. He has a unique ability to diagnose almost any kind of mechanical problem that exists in kitchen dishwashing or on-premise laundry systems. When Michael arrives to troubleshoot a problem, there is always a sense of “all is well in the world”. Over the years, Michael has developed almost a cult following because he is so talented, skilled and well-liked by our customers. Michael grooms our technicians in all aspects of our service commitment to our customers. His creative initiative helps keep us focused on innovative trends in our industry.

Donald Miller, Service Technician

Donald came to work with Barnell in 1998, initially as a chemical processor in our manufacturing facility. A dedicated and quick learner, his responsibilities eventually included all areas of powder and liquid manufacturing, in addition to plant maintenance and equipment upkeep. Donald’s highly developed plumbing and electrical skills, combined with his trouble-shooting talent and intuitive knack for mechanical problem-solving led him to accept an opening on our Service staff. He has fined-tuned his skills in this field; Donald is great at thinking on his feet and the diagnosis and repair of all types of problems. He is our “gentle giant” in the field.

Shawn Rompolski, Service Technician

Shawn is the newest addition to the Barnell family, bringing to us his considerable plumbing and electrical skills. He, too, is a quick learner who has adapted nicely to our family environment and the unique nature of our service business. He is friendly, knowledgeable, a straight-arrow who troubleshoots field problems quickly and efficiently. We are happy for the opportunity to have Shawn as part of our team and to grow our business with him.
